Our company was founded in 2021 on the basis of many years of expertise and brings together a team of qualified designers, planners and project managers as well as an extensive network of specialists and experts in the industry – both nationally and internationally.

We are a design and planning office specializing in creative consulting, lighting design, specialist planning and technical management for a wide range of applications in the fields of corporate events, TV, live entertainment and architecture.

Our clients include brands, agencies, event organizers, producers, builders and architects who appreciate the quality of our work for their projects.

History

Although dp studio GmbH – as a merger of DP Design GmbH and studio b – is a new company, the members of our team have many years of experience in leading positions in various companies in the event industry.

Dirk Feuerstein is one of the pioneers of lighting design and event planning in Germany and was – after freelance work in the 90s – founder and managing partner of rgb GmbH in Essen, later also with subsidiaries in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Atlanta as well as various other holdings.
The milestones in his professional career include not only activities in the field of live entertainment for various artists and event organizers, but also many years of lighting design support for national and international trade fair appearances and presentations of various brands from the automotive sector, such as Volkswagen, Škoda or Mercedes-Benz.
Furthermore, Dirk has worked on numerous TV formats in the past and has also developed and realized lighting design concepts for architectural lighting.

Tim Bodenmüller worked as a specialist for rigging technology and special constructions at the beginning of the 2000s and was subsequently employed as a project manager at Germany’s largest provider of event technology; during this time, Tim acquired the title of certified master craftsman for event technology.
In the period from 2010 – 2021, Tim planned and implemented numerous major projects for rgb GmbH as Director of Productions.
The highlights of Tim’s professional career include various TV shows, such as RTL boxes, but also large corporate events, such as the Volkswagen brand’s dealer congresses or trade fairs and events of other well-known brands.
